12th Alpineroads.com-meet "GG" 2018 from 30th June to 3rd July 2018, and the base is www.iselsbergerhof.at :D

Real old school bikerhouse on the way up to Grossglockner, 8 kms up from Lienz in the village Iselsberg. 8) My first time there was in early 80´s....since then I have visited in the house many many times. :!:

All the rooms are reserved for us, so all bookings to me. Kiitos/Grazie/Danke/Thank you/Merci! If we manage to get the house full, I have option to book more rooms from the neighbour. We have B&B, and the dinner we choose from the a la carte list and pay separately straight in the restaurant.

Welcome you all!!! :D :D :D

Now all I have to do is find a bike.

The yellow VStrom has a new home and I'm looking for something lighter to buy and ship over. Maybe a KLR or one of the old BMW 650GS singles. Something that I can pick up easily on dirt roads. In case the bike decides to take a nap.

We will probably miss next year because we want a shorter bike Holiday, and another "normal" holiday as well, but hopefully we will be back again for AR 2019 wherever it may be.

We had decided when signing up for this years trip that it would mean a shorter trip in 2018, that is generally how we do things, one year a long bike trip another year a shorter bike trip and some sunshine....

....although considering swapping sunshine for snow in 2018, so we may actually go to the Alps twice
