A Hardly Ableson ? :shock:

That being said - my first bike was a Hardly.

A 1934 VL.

That I paid $20 for.

It's been a few years.

Wouldn't mind having an XR1200, though.

its a 2006 Electra Glide Ultra. it was a hell of a good price, looked at Yamaha's big tourer, but they dont bring it into europe.
as never happy with the FJR, they never could cure the vibration in the bars. last year alps trip was a nightmare. if i got stuck in heavy motorway traffic and could not get my hand of the throttle, i lost the fealing in it after 12 miles. plus was not impressed with the cornering on the hairpins {yes i know the Harley will be worse}but after XJR's it was not impressive. my mate with a BMW RT100 could corner faster than me, the FJR just did not seem to like it.
and the pillion seat, well you should have seen my G/F's face light up when she seen it, she would have bought it without even a test ride or seeing if it started :roll:

[quote="iomrob"]...and the pillion seat...

Pillion seat my ass (so to speak).

More of a road sofa.
