Wonder what they'll be like in the dark?

With less electricity applied - 60 watts/side - 6,000+ lumens. Each.

Profile. Flags in order visited. Must have ridden/driven in country for it to count. Actually, I've ridden in all but one.

A personalized plate "HOBBES" will be coming soon, and graced by this on the rear of a pannier. Couldn't resist.

2x 6000lumens should work well, got 3600 lumens on my enduro bike and it's really bright 8)

Where did you get the flags? Nice idea, though maybe a bit samller as haven't got container size luggage.

Countries ridden in:

Denmark
Germany
Austria
Italy
Switzerland

I got them from http://www.flagline.com/category/rectangular-stickers. They're about 5.7 x 10 cm.

There is a source of smaller ones - about 2.5 x 3.8 cm, http://www.flagstickershop.com/reflde.html but they're only available in sheets of 50 - and what do you do with the other 49?

Maybe an Alpine Roads Group Buy? There looks to be about 50 or so different flags in a complete set to cover western Europe and the first layer of eastern Europe (Russia, Ukraine, etc.) along with North America and a set of islands off the African coast known to be frequented by persons who will remain nameless.
