Accomodation in France

Postby cbrr3 » Thu Feb 23, 2006 9:15 am

Just finished planning another trip to France for the back end of May and have to commend the Logis de France website, talk about easy to navigate and accurate.

Spot on every time.

B&B with garage between Izoard and Lautaret pass

There's a great B&B chalet in Serre Chevalier which is on the "Route des Grandes Alpes" about 10 km after/before the Lautaret pass and the start of the Galibier pass. It has a garage free of charge and a great atmosphere, bars and restaurants are all within walking distance and there's a kitchen if ever you feel like cooking up some pasta !!!

If you guys happen to pass by Chalon-sur-Saone which is a really beautiful city in France, there's this relatively inexpensive hotel that I stayed at called Hotel Fairway. It's a hotel à chalon sur saone and I recommend it if you'd like to go sightseeing in Chalon-sur-Saone.
