Website and Forum migration to new servers. 2010

Postby tim » Wed Aug 25, 2010 1:36 am

Hello all,
I've just had a meeting with an old friend who is also the gentleman who kindly hosts AlpineRoads for free on his servers. He's currently migrating to a different provider and servers, which means AR will also move.
What this means in practical terms is that at some time between now and October the forum probably will be offline for 1 - 2 days while the database is copied over and the new addresses are registered.
Otherwise there should hopefully be no other disruption. I will post when I know when the forum will be down.

A true saint. Please pass on my appreciation and gratitude to him the next time you meet with him.
