Serve and database migration

Postby tim » Wed Aug 07, 2013 8:50 pm

Some of you may have noticed the "weird shit" as Michael put it, happening on the web site, and also on the forum occasionally. Database errors etc.
This is because the hosts are migrating to a faster server, and I have yet to update the code to reflect the new settings. Sorry. Please bear with me for a day or two.

Thanks - it's nice to know that it's not my PC doing strange stuff :D

Well, I'm really sorry about that peeps!

I think I have it all back up running now. If there are still any problems please let me know asap.

I'll be doing a software update - probably next week - but the board will be "down" for no more than an hour or so hopefully (usually takes about 10 minutes, but you know how it is with upgrades when you're in a hurry...)

Thanks for all your work Tim
Its a pain when the system is changed underneath you
Like when a customer updates their database from SQL2005 to SQL2008 because new is better, right
Except it will never work again because all the commands have changed
