Camping in Slovenia

Postby guzzirider » Mon Mar 21, 2011 5:08 am

Does anyone have any suggestions for decent camp sites in Slovenia?

Preferably near decent mountain roads and not too commercial like those horrible holiday camps full of kids?

We prefer wild and rustic near a decent bar / restaurant.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Cheers

I did stay there in late June. Great campsite near some very fast and empty roads.
Thanks for the recommendation.

Not that I recall but there was another campsite across the river just about 1km away- and the town of Kobarid nearby too.
